Your book was filled with peace that comes from faith
Posted by Diane on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 7:19am
I started to read your book this afternoon and could not put it down(thankfully Dave made dinner tonight). I just finished the book and am in tears . . . the life lessons that he leaves behind need repeating at least I need to be reminded of what really matters.
You have done a beautiful job witnessing for God in a way that is not "preachy" and will hopefully reach many people.
I read a book called "final gifts" written by 2 hospice care nurses who have been at the bedsides of thousands of terminally ill patients. They share the story of so many patients experiencing a peace and beauty that was beyond description. Like you after hearing story after story I knew that death would only be a new begining.
That comfort is such a gift, and your book was filled with the peace that comes from faith.

I stayed up and read the entire book last night...............your writing style is very warm and spontaneous and easy to understand.........it is very genuine and believable and enjoyable to read..........you do not pound people over the head with theology, but just state your beliefs, doubts, and experiences.........should be very much of an encouragement to many.........I am glad I read it! I thought it was riveting........I just kept reading until I was done......so I went to sleep rather late! (actually early in the wee morning hours.........)

A new Testimonial from Rev. Nancy to share
Posted by Diane on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 8:48am
Diane Hanson is a down-to-earth loving mom and writer who shares her personal journey of loss, disappointment and determination with honesty. Anyone who has lost a child, knows someone who has, or who could never imagine such a situation, can identify with and benefit by the story of her struggles, her tears, her laughter and coping. Faith is key to Diane’s existence and how she approaches life. Although the Christian message is sometimes heavy, the strength and persistence which comes from her faith is an inspiration.

More new comments to share: "I seriously could not put this book down"
Posted by Diane on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 8:23pm
It is almost midnight on Saturday night and I jut finished reading "Full Circle". I usually do not stay up this late at night but I seriously could not put this book down. I tried to decide if it was just because I know you that it held my interest so but I have decided it is so good that even if I didn't know you and your girls personally, it would have engaged me and kept my interest.
I am amazed and flabbergasted to know of all the struggles you have had in your life and your journey to faith. Your testimony and sharing of your experiences is heartfelt, but is also well organized and presented. For someone who thinks they are "scattered"and "not with it" all the time, you had the foresight to keep those journals and organize your thoughts and situations into an amazingly cohesive and interesting story. I am in awe of it really!
I too struggled with infertility for five years and was only able to bear children with the help of fertility drugs. While it was nothing like your struggle, it makes me appreciate what some people have to go through to have children while others get pregnant without trying or even wanting a baby. So all of that was really interesting to me.
You are a very strong person. What you have conquered and accomplished and managed to survive in your life is nothing short of a miracle and to remain steadfast in faith is overwelming. Many people would have been angry at God for all the challenges placed on your path. Instead you looked at them as a means to strenghthen your trust in God.... amazing.
What a gift you have given to your girls in wiriting this book. When they are older and read it your story will give them a picture of you that few children ever see of their parents..and Tim and your parents must be so proud.
I think it will find its market and it could be very successful. I know that was not your reason for writing it, but I would not be surprised at all if that happened.

"I found your book and read it. Diane, it is a wonderful book, and I felt myself feeling your highs and lows. My sweet niece is in the midst of infertility. Nothing seems to work and she and her husband are in so much pain. Today I am passing on your book to her with prayers that her story will have a happy ending." Sandi |
